About Us

Hello, my name is Lilly, and I own Praise and Pastries. This is how I decided to start my Christian-based bakery.

My family and I lived in Pennsylvania for 5 years, and while I was living there, I loved going to bakeries with my mom. I loved walking in and smelling fresh baked bread or seeing different kinds of pastries in the glass windows. That is what started my love of pastries.

When we moved to Nebraska, I realized how much I missed the fresh baked goods and pastries. I love helping my mom in the kitchen and tasting her bread and cookies fresh out of the oven. One day, my mom showed me a flyer for a homeschool kid-preneur baking and craft fair. I decided to participate with some cookies that I made myself, with some help. I sold out of cookies at that baking and craft fair, and I discovered that I liked selling my cookies to people and putting a smile on their faces.

Since I loved baking so much, my mom suggested I start a bakery. I prayed to God, and I felt him calling me to try it, and that is why I am here!
